Only had one. On my 98 FLHT.
Mentioned in the Bike name thread. Rubicon was her name. Plate was RBICN.
Just to pricey to bother with for T~S.....though I had thought about it.
Im with everyone else. Just pay the least amount to keep her legal... like.they do the roads. Least amount to.keep them passable. Why pay state more then.needed.?
had one on my truck...gave it up because of price. it was $40 EXTRA each year. went back to a std. plate, bolted the personalized ones to my roll-around tool box.
regards,
dave
Custom plates are cheap here. Like a one time fee of $40.
Only problem is you are only allowed a combination of 4 numbers or letters.
The only four letter words I know would not be suitable for a license plate.
In Ma. they charged an extra $20 for my Vet plate can't imagine how much they'd grab me for a vanity plate. This place sucks, too many things keeping me back from moving.
Not really personalized and not something I would put on my 4 wheeled vehicle...... but I got my Bronze Star plate on the bike. Seems a good fit for the bike, the folks, the freedom.... You get me?
