i adjusted the apes:nod a few inches forward to get the wanted riding position. I think I missed the mark as i still have a little more fine tuning needed to get my arms just right.
then rode 16 miles to work, a bit cool but the air was very clean and fresh.
Changed the oil. Will do the rest of the 20k maintenance on Saturday. Rode to work. Finally a little cool. 49 and breezy (20mph gusts). Will be up to almost 70 this afternoon. The weekend will see a little warming trend and no chance of rain. I think I might wrap up my maintenance on Friday night and get lost on Saturday.
Nothing it was pouring rain. I drove the truck away and then realized that I forgot something. I drove back and because I was now in a hurry so I was not late I turned into the driveway and somehow sent the back end of the truck sideways. It was really cool but being pointed at the mailbox is a little unnerving! I have always said on the bike that all of the roads around my house are some of the slipperiest I have been on. I could just be crazy but I still believe it.
got tank back from coater (the one he fugged up) got it completely striped by a better coater now in process of getting the dam dent out.
