i adjusted the apes:nod a few inches forward to get the wanted riding position. I think I missed the mark as i still have a little more fine tuning needed to get my arms just right.
then rode 16 miles to work, a bit cool but the air was very clean and fresh.
when I bought mine I saw one in show room with hill rest & I had to have hill rest I knew I wouldn't like just a peg. sure helps in breaking & changing gears.
Our local dealer has big brass bell the customer rings on delivery of a new/used Harley. Think they should give a bell to every customer to be put on by there friends/family with the sale.:think

I bought and installed a pair of Harley extended reach Hwy peg mounts with pegs for $100 from a guy who bought them for his Ultra and they didn't work.
now if we had some warmer weather so I could try them out !!!!
Rode home from work and the wife and I are going to ride in a toy run today! Hope the rain holds off it would be nice to get a good turn it for the kids!
Just got another call. All parts are shot.
The painter is now playing on his graphics program to get just the perfect layout for the rear fender graphics.
DANG I`m stoked!
Consider it done. The painter is from my old neck of the woods. Have a riding Brother picking them up as soon as they are done. Then I have a 2 hour drive to pick them up. Then 2 hours of white knuckle driving to get them home safely.
Pics are promised. :nod Just try to stop me. :bluduh

Have soft blankets galore lined up. Brother is gonna keep them a day or 2 after he picks them up so the paint has just that much longer to set. He lives alone and has a spare bedroom all set for their arrival and safe storage.
Already have safe and sound storage here at the house once they get back and until I`m ready to bolt them back on.

Yesterday it rained and washed away the salt from recent snows. Today was sunny so I tried out my recent purchase of a Gerbings jacket liner. Wow, worked great.
A week ago I was driving cage in a couple inches of falling snow and it was pretty slippery for such a small amount when I see a touring Harley going opposite way. Wow! Who was that guy? Anyone here ride Rt 40 in NJ last Sunday?
Installed j&m 7.25 inch fairing & lower speakers, 500W amp, HD Boom XM radio and 4 point docking set. This thing is loud!! My GF said she heard my radio while she was trailing me in our car on the freeway and with the radio on. Christmas came early for me
(I think that snow blower might need to find out what diesel tastes like)
