i adjusted the apes:nod a few inches forward to get the wanted riding position. I think I missed the mark as i still have a little more fine tuning needed to get my arms just right.
then rode 16 miles to work, a bit cool but the air was very clean and fresh.
In the 70's here today...took her out for a nice ride and while it was still warm changed the oil in it...15,200 miles on it...good for another 5,000 now...:thumbsup
Stacked the new tires next to the pipes, baffles, oil, filter, grips, speedo/tach, bezel, front bag...all ready for the project. Looks like the weather is going to encourage a nice ride this weekend before shutting her down, jacking her up, and getting to work.

Posted elsewhere, but I guess it belongs here, too. Finished installing last step in Stage I upgrades, including SE Stage 1 air filter with K&N element, Rinehart True Dual headers/slip-ons and Power Commander tuner.
had a potluck at work today, so had to take the cage to work to get the food to the office and still in shape to eat, so no riding even tho the weather was perfect!!
I got home yesterday to find 2 of my best riding buddies in my driveway. Quick clothes change then a little ride around town. Probably last of the year as heavy rain is moving in, then the cold again.
Left my bike in friend's heated garage in preparation for the ape install.
