i adjusted the apes:nod a few inches forward to get the wanted riding position. I think I missed the mark as i still have a little more fine tuning needed to get my arms just right.
then rode 16 miles to work, a bit cool but the air was very clean and fresh.
Straightened up the cover after checking on the tender. Gotta leave her behind for a few days. My brother is getting married in Pigeon Forge on tuesday and he asked if we could come and hang out the day before. I couldn't say no since nobody else was able to make it.
Changed all 3 oils in mama and the motor oil in baby yesterday. It was 99 degrees. It was a whoopin'.
Found out why the tour pak was moving around back there (first noticed at Collision). The tabs that the front mount bolt to were snapped off the FRAME, ON BOTH SIDES. Not an easy fix. Took the pak off. My backpak (laptop) doesn't fit in the saddlebag, so I had to wear it.
My dad in Houston can weld it. It's a 5 hour run down there. Might go in a couple weekends. Got a local guy (on a HD Facebook group) who said he would look at it. So I have a couple options. I hate not having my trunk.
Nothing,I put more miles on my bicycle the past week then the motorcycle. 78 for the bicycle and 0 for the Harley,I wish it would stop raining so we can have a decent summer.
been riding my 04 Sporty for the last 3 days. My tour pak of the Heritage is in the shop getting a lock put on it. I need space for my daily "junk", and the Sporty has a tour pak. Besides, it needs to get out of the garage once or twice a month. Just back and forth to and from work each day.
didn't do anything on it, but I got all my front lights converted to LED's The bullet rings turned out pretty cool IMO. The fender tip light was kind of a pain since I had to splice wires, since I had to do it, I just soldered it in.
Tomorrow I'll put on all the rear lights and my brake flasher to annoy people who don't like to look at bikes while driving, lol.

Rain this morning so I put on the rain gear. Going to be too nice this afternoon not to ride.
