i adjusted the apes:nod a few inches forward to get the wanted riding position. I think I missed the mark as i still have a little more fine tuning needed to get my arms just right.
then rode 16 miles to work, a bit cool but the air was very clean and fresh.
Rode out to do some errands. Met a guy selling tires and checked out some tires he had on Craigslist for my brother-in-law. They look great, so I told him to do the deal. Then rode up to pick up some medical script for wife, dropped that off at the pharmacy, then rode home. Was getting hot by the time I rolled into the garage.
The UPS guy dropped off a package from Dennis Kirk today! Christmas in July? Seems like it here.
Kuryakyn mirror stem extenders are already installed, and some Avon air cushion grips will be replacing the stock setup, tomorrow after work. Can't wait to try 'em out.
OUCH !
On the high side tires are about 200 a copy?
there is 400
a oil change with tire mount and a once over is 900 bucks labor ?
Yea i know they have a sheet of doo dads to look at......but still....
I guess the dealer and buyer are in contract to make sure the dealer keep the lights on.
I have nothing against anyone making a profit.
i always say i will be glad to help, BUT, I do not want to be the hero and make the whole monthly payment for him..LOL
Got my Arlen Ness Big Sucker air cleaner delivered by the brown-shorts
Santa yesterday, and I promptly installed it and reflashed my ECU.
Am about to take her out for a shake-down cruise...
Took the scoot over to the Head Wrench at the local stealership. Still leaking somewhere around the inner primary. Looking like the shifter shaft seal is gone where it enters the tranny. Got 50K on the bike and leaks are springing up everywhere. May be looking at a new, shiny, leak free bike before too long.

My dealership said my shift shaft seal was leaking both times I took it in for new tires (front and rear separately). It's been replaced twice in just 6 months now but I never noticed any spots.
Almost 30k here and factory warranty has covered 4 leaky seals. Yikes. Good luck on yours, I don't like leaving a calling card everywhere I park.
