After one hip replacement and one shoulder repair I'm GTG pending weather in the republik of massachusetts. Bike is stored in a warm garage, waiting.
I hope I can remember how, shift, brake, lean :)
Age has nothing to do with it.:|

Depending on the bike you ride, the shifting, leaning etc. will all still be there.
Now all the controls, may be a different thing.
I tore into my bike in mid November to do some mods, it was late January before I got it back together and rode the first time.
Damn, remembering how to set cruise, change stations on the radio and such was the confusing part. LOL

Good luck with your come back!!!

On the other hand, my suggestion is to take it easy the first few times out. Go for a couple short rides and just familiarize yourself with everything again before you try and take off on any long days.
