Humm - I'm new to this forum and did a search before I joined hoping to find the same post about a scott we rebuild similiar to mine but can't. I was trying to find an S&s 97" rebuild with Andrews tw37b's and rhinehart true duels just to see if the guy ever got it dyno'd and what he ended up with. I'm switching from the screaming eagle race tuner to the power commander 3 and will have her dyno'd next week. Runs great now... Only complaint might be that the cams are noisier than I'd imagined. I may have collapsed a lifter so I put in the quickly push rods and new lifters but the cams are still noisy as hell. 'Wonder if a good tune will quit them a little. Thoughts?

Sorry, I had to cut it a tad short. What do you think about this package? I'm really teetering on the fence right now. The wife says I need more power:wink She didn't like losing to my brother in law, a month ago. We were 2 up, and he wasn't. Yah, I know, but who am I to tell her I don't need more, more, more:angel

Hi Scott, I started a thread about the Screaming Eagle Stage 3. The mechanic I trust, is excited about this package. He cautions, however, that I should install adjust pushrods and an upgraded set of lifters. (Not sure if he said lifters) they're cylindrical and about 2 inches long. There's 4 of them. Anyway, I digress, there were a couple of guys here that posted that I should contact you. He showed me a dyno chart, of a build like mine, that got 100hp/121tq. I'm already at 86.5/107.5 respectively. I've done the jackpot ceramic header, bassani dnt's and a super tuner pro. He is a very good tuner, whom I've been trusting for about 7 years. The package without the rods and lifters is <$1600 installed. My bike, is a 2015 SGS, and I have an extended warranty. The dealer and the mechanic were blunt and appeared to be honest about any warranty issues I may have in the future.

Hey Scott, what kind of wildass cam will put an 80 EVO at 100tq?
We're doing one now with an SE-11, CP pistons, cleanup bore and
ported heads flowing 260s, Vance and Hines Pro pipe. 45 Mik.

    Scott,

There's a thread on the other board, someone suggesting setting the piston clearance
at .001. That seems a little tight as Harley says .0014 is the minimum. Have you ever
gotten away with .001? Just curious, I'm always afraid to go that tight. thanks man

Hey Scott, I'm doing a set of '-06' heads for myself and ran into an issue where the front
head is down 6 cfm on the ex. at .4 lift. The intakes both make great numbers and the ex.s are pretty even except for the dip at .4"-.5" ( 4 cfm dip at .5). At .6 they're both
the same. Got any ideas, Should I just live with it?

You can creep up on that but eventually you'll blow thru.
I do not know "how much" but we remove material from other areas to establish our goals here.

Hey Scott. How much can I realisticly raise the intake port in a TC head without affecting the integrity of the valve guide staying in the head? thanks...

Dont really trust the dealer ships in the area. This computer stuff is all new to me. Thank you for your time. PS Waylon Jennings kicks ass

    Hi
Saw your post about using SB Chevy lifters, I was hoping you would share the specifics about the lifters and how much you sell them for.
    Thanks
    Dave
