Basically it's a resister between the oxygen sensor that the ECM. It fools the ECM into thinking it isn't getting enough fuel and the ECM will give it more fuel. Here is the web page. Nightrider.com

Weather has been great. I have just got to 530 miles so I am now out of the break in period. Now its time to start to really ride. Love the bike so far. I am really looking into getting some pipes. I am going to go in and talk to the dealer and see how much they want to map the fuel system for new pipes. so well see what they say.

I'll say that sucks. I am going to call tomorrow to set up a time for the next weekend. My dealer is open on Saturday and so is their service department. The forecast is for rain and more rain over the next few days as well as the weekend although today turned out well and I was able to get some riding in.

The windshield was installed before I even took it out for the first time so I dont know at this point how much the buffeting increases but there is some. I like it on those early evening rides in the country where I come back with that windshield covered with bugs some of them large that never got to me. Weather cool and some rain in the forecast here. The windshield is the 18" clear 58346-06 page 130 Harley catalogue. It clamps on and is easy to take off and put back on I just havent tried it without yet I may this weekend.

10-4 on the loud pipes saving lives.. I to schedule my 1000 mile service this week shooting for Thursday in mobile, that's where I got my bike. How is the windshield and which did you get? As far as the vibration I haven't noticed any yet. Was the vibration there before the windshield? I've been riding mine to work everyday. Only thing is my work days I leave my house at 3am and the first morning it was 44 degrees, yeah but its steady getting warmer here. Probably getting the windshield sissy bar rack and backpack on my first service.

Hi thought I should send you a line let you know about the Super Glide. So far have added a windshield, highway pegs, sissy bar and a back pack for the sissy bar. Had great riding weather yesterday but today raining and more on the way for the week. Was wondering if you have noticed a vibration in the front on curves leaning a lower speeds. I have and it feels like a tire issue to me. I dont notice it above certain speeds, saw some posts on the forum about it and no one at least the last time I read had any concrete ideas on what was causing it. I am going to ask when I take it on for my 1000 mile oil change check up. Will chat again soon. Mike

Hi the weather yesterday was incredible. I got a lot of riding in. So far have added the sissy bar and now a back pack that attaches to it. I read some other posts of a vibration in the front end on curves leaning I have noticed this a slower speeds and I was wondering if you have. It really feels like a tire issue to me, and will check with service when I go in for my 1000 mile oil change check up. The local HOG chapter is fairly active here and they have ride once a week out of town in the evening for a dinner somewhere. Planning on going this week. Going to be looking for pipes soon since a friend of mine a long time Harley rider said "loud pipes save lives" seems like valid point to me.
