I recently had the forward control kit installed on my 2014 Superlow 1200T. The Harley service guy told me the plain black rubber pegs are the only pegs that will fit the forward control kit. I find that to be hard to believe. I had the Harley Mini Floorboards mounted on my mid controls. My question is, is there any way to use my Mini Floorboards on the forward control kit. I think the part that accepts the pegs is called the clevis (could be way off on this), but can that be changed to accept different pegs and possibly my mini floorboards? The peg that's on there now is offset. Thanks
I have aftermarket forward controls idk if they are Harley or not I traded my mids with someone on Craigslist. My forwards the pegs go on the exact same on forwards as mids so anything that fits the mids would fit the forwards
Precision Billet, Chandler AZ, just came out with an adapter for their mini floor boards that fit the newer sportsters. They might not have them on their website yet. I just was over there Friday and saw them.
I bought the ones I wanted and machined .140 thousanths" off of the proper shoulder. I should have taken .145" instead, but all is well and works just fine.
