working on 50'000 on my 2011 limited
did have top end done under warranty on my 2007 dyna
valve guides went bad? or so they said only cost 50 so no big deal for me now has 59000 on it
and 45000 on 05 road glide that I have side car hack on I bought it used so might have had work done
I've got an '08 Street Glide with 96k miles. Have the normal tics & noises, but she runs strong & smokeless.
My dilemma is this: do i rebuild to a 103" or find a 103" that someone swapped out for less than $3k?
Had a 1993 Classic beautiful bike sold it at 91,000 brakes and oil changes. Got Bluebook. Now have a 2011 limited bought it at 17,000 ish. Now at 34,000 3 years later no issues. Love mt Harley!!
210,000 miles on my 02 FLHT, 2 engines, both never had the heads off. Problems and maintenance were always in the cam plate area: tensioners, oil pump, lifters, and cam bearings. Those are the problem and maintenance areas you need to be watching.
2015 Ultra Limited, Stage IV kit from day one, 50,000 miles, just replaced the lifters with this service as one was getting loose (not maintaining pre-load).
