Engine swap and now no start

Hi, hope somebody can help? 2001 Road King. Was a fuel injected bike. Pulled motor and replaced with new (2009)Jims 131. Installed Mikuni 48 on Jims supplied manifold. V&H Pro pipe HO. Removed factory sub engine harness and replaced with factory sub harness for a carbed 2001 Road King. Installed Dynatech TC88 2p ignition. Intalled new CPS. Installed new MAP sensor as old one would not fit in new manifold. Have lotsa spark. I mean LOTS. Both plugs. Have fuel. When cranking initially seems to fire on one cylinder. Sometimes two? After cranking (two or three times) will get backfire through exhaust. Will not start. Note all components were "plug and play" due to switching harness. Have not butchered wiring. Have lots of compression, huge spark, fuel. How can it be timimg out? Only thing left????
