I had bought a new 1996 S2T and had it 11 or so years. It was fun for what I had it for but now I am 53 and now I want to tour the USA. Better to be in an Ultra.

At the time I couldn't afford both. I have great memories of the S2T and I suppose now that the Buell dream is over I should blow up one of the photos into a poster for memories.

It was cool. It was painted 1/2 black, 1/2 Orange and a white stripe down the middle.

The reality of the situation is its economic hard times. Major adjustments have to be made. Even the Japanese moved there only motorcycle facility in USA(Ohio) back to Japan.

During economic hard times we all will have to be prepared to do the difficult things.

I thought for sure Buells were in when Harley bought out Eric.

closing buell

not only is it closing down but thanks to the fantastic ceo of HD any of the dealerships, who in an effort to keep from having a bunch of inventory sitting around relinquished their buell dealerships, HD will not be covering their warranties or supplying parts. this guy in my mind did the equivalent of GM closing the chevy line to pursue hummer more. it's BS. one of the major problems of this recession was the CEOs of these banks and automakers made stupid decissions. if this uninformed moron is allowed to stay CEO he's going to do the same thing to HD.

Yet another motorcycle company bits the dust. Shame too as these Buells seem to sell well over here in Australia
