Introduce yourself Rickey.
A 67 year old with a 99 SuperGlide shouldn't be shy.

My manual for 48 panhead has wheelbase at 59.5 inches. I'd imagine that's what a 47 knuckle would be since there wasn't much difference between the two outside the engine.

Wheelbase and length are two different things.

However, if the wheelbase is 59.5 inches, and each wheel is 16", and the tires are approx. 6" tall at the sidewall, plus the estimated distance to the rear fender tail.....

Length would be: 59.5" + 8"(f) +8"(r) + 6"(tire) + 6"(tire) + (est)10" to rear fender= 97.5" or 8.1 feet long.

Is that about right, 48eModelpanhead??
