A Plan Comes Together

Installed the 08 H-D Crossbones solo seat on the Panhead tonight and besides having to make two 1/4 " spacers it went right on and if I do say so myself, it looks ten times better on my Pan then on the Crossbones Springer Softail. As previously posted, took off the 3" springs and replaced them with 2" springs. I sit a little higher but its way comfortable.

See ya on the open road.....Better yet, you will hear me first!

Rob

I will get some pics today with the new seat as I got a few loose ends I need to finish on the "Ol Girl". Here is a pic I posted in my introduction of when I mocked up the freshly painted tanks and front fender.

I took the springs off my old Solo there but the post were still on my scoot and they worked perfect for the new seat. Surprisingly!

One of the other side w/ my fat greasy ass on it!

Every part / component on this scoot has a story behind it. Lots of goodies but I will save it for a rainy day when were sitting in the house wishing we were riding. In short......84 cubes w/STD heads and a andrews tranny. Bad for what she is.....

Thank you very much! I have decided that since I am running the "Crossbones" solo seat now I might as well run the leather strip that goes down the middle of the tanks . Just called the Dealer and $110.00! I don't know why I'm surprised lol. Besides, whats $110.00 when you got $20,000 invested right????? As you can tell, I'm trying to use physcology on myself to ease the pain lol.
