The only reason he is selling this one is because he got another ticket for 30mph over, he can't seem to slow it down so he is getting rid of it.

ZERO to 60 in 2.4 seconds..
Top speed is 278 feet a second..
They corners like they on rails, no push in the front end, very tight in the ass end (had a GF like that once lol) on high speed turns.. there is lots to love there.. but I still love being low and slow.. I dont miss much that way.. and the older I get the more I enjoy the all the things along the way..

I had a 2001 Suzuki GSX-R 1000, bike was insane, to pull the front end off the ground at 120 mph was nothing, to take bends at ridiculous speeds was just insane. To do a wheelie at 149 mph on the quarter mile at the stunt competitions was crazy too. I used to love to see how far I could push my bikes and not end up dead. Now, I throw my legs over the ole geezer glide, kick up the radio and cruise in the double digits, not the triple.

My second bike was a Kawasaki Eliminator back in 1985 which was basically the Ninja stripped down and faster from 0-50 than anything on the road at the time. Hey I was young but still had a bad knee and didn't like the "crotch rocket" so this was the next best thing.
It took me about two months to realize that I was going to end up dead somewhere if I kept the bike. A few times when the testosterone kicked in and I pushed the bike, it pushed back hard. I ended up trading it in on a Vulcan and since I'm still around it was probably one of my better decisions.
I still agree that I'd rather see someone on two wheels, pretty much any two wheels, if that's what they want and can afford.
My son is 14 and he wants a "crotch rocket". I take him riding whenever I can and I'm always talking to him about what I'm doing and thinking / watching while I ride. One of these days he'll probably decide to ride and I want him to know how to do it right, whatever he decides to get.
