Big sucker backing plate
I have the backing plate and mounting bolts for sale. This fits '05 and older only. Believe me, it will not fit '06 and newer, I tried. Just add your filter and go. $30.00 plus shipping which shouldn't be much, it's mostly aluminum. Has mounting bolts for Big twin and sporty engines.

I wasn't aware big twin and sporty have the same head width. I'm almost positive they don't.
If this is off a big twin, the bolts should be for twin cam and Evo. Evo's are the larger diametered ones....TCs are the thinner ones.
I could be wrong.

The instructions state to use the backing plate but has 2 different sets of bolts, one for twin cam and one for sporty. If there is any doubt I can provide a part # so we can cross ref.

Dave you are correct, I just called Ness and it will only fit big twin till '05 even though it comes with the mounting bolts for sporty & twin cam engines. Give me a few and I will post a pic.
