R & R 155" Evo!!!
It's been a few years since I've looked at parts for custom bikes. Back when I had my last bike built the 250 tire and a 96" S&S was some pretty cool shit.
I was watching a show last night and this guy had a 155" motor! He said it was 180 hp or some crap (which I kinda doubt) but still that is one freakin huge motor!!! I wonder how reliable it is?
Anyway, just in case anyone else is in the dark ages like me I figured I would post it up. They certainly are not cheap.

You can get some pretty stout motors from Ultima as well.
They make a 140" motor rated at 165hp/170tq, so I don't think those kind of numbers for a 155" motor are outside the realm of possibility....
Their 120" and 127" El Bruto motors are pretty popular street motors.
120": 130hp/135tq
127": 140hp/140tq
Theyre based out of St Louis...

Wow Lakie I'm with you on being a bit in the dark on 155ci motors.
I knew they were up to 140 but I wonder if they are larger outside dimensions than a stock Harley motor?

Go to Zippers. They can build a VROD eating motor without much effort. Old technology, Vic. All the tricks are known. A little over a horsepower per cubic inch is not a big deal. My 260 cubic inch engine in my Mustang puts out 300+ horsepower.

Yes, they are.... It's not a straightforward bolt in motor. The frame/motor mount needs to be modified to accept a taller motor.

It makes sense. You aren't gonna get 15 cubes with a bore. It must be a huge stroker.

Actually, the 140" motors are using a 4.4" bore x 4.625" stroke, and are 5/8" taller than stock 80ci Evo externally.
The 155" uses a 4.6" bore and the same 4.625" stroke, so it should be the same height externally as the 140" motors.
Compare that to the stock 80" with a 3.5" bore and 4.250" stroke. We're talking some HFPs.... Huge Friggin Pistons!

I thought that it was possible to use stronger materials and maintain the same outside dimensions.

it would take a modified or custom frame to bolt the motor in, because it's taller than a stock hd motor.
