I dont know, but cheap I imagine - an old aircraft engineer friend of mine once told me they were made round coz it was easier to roll them to the dump that way!!!
I also want one anyway though, so look for two, let me know!

Rotec Engineering makes the radial engines, there are 2 or 3 versions of it, and they seem to be well made. Radials from the early 20th Century were not long hour engines, and had a tendency to bend connecting rods due to oil seeping into the combustion chambers of the lower cylinders.
