What Speed sensor?

Hey, lookin for some help. Have a ground up custom build with a 6 speed Ultima Trans. What speed sensor do I need to run with that for an electronic speedo. Any help is appreciated.

Check with Ultima. If you're putting it in an HD case, then use the appropriate year HD speed sensor, located in the right rear of the case, near the end of the starter.

Not sure if an HD sensor is a direct fit for the Ultima case, if that's the case (no pun) and the trans case is where it's going into. If the HD fits, then you need to match the sensor to the speedo, (HD?)regarding brand, due to length/diameter to not only fit the case, but not hit the exciter ring and making sure it sends the correct signal to the speedo.

HD speed sensors not only run the electronic speedo and odometer, but also send a signal in 4 speed bands to the turnsignal control module to cancel the turnsignals.
