Angry uh oh.. gotta stop the bleeding. HELP!

I have a custom bike with your standard sh!t. Harley crate 80"Evo, revtech 5sp, 3"open BDL, etc etc. It's been my daily driver (60 mile/day) for 5 yrs- bullet proof. Rode it from Los Angeles to Cottonwood AZ for the smokeout-West w/no problems last year. (ok tail-light) but nothing major. But now..

A few weeks ago on the way to work my crankshaft nut worked itself loose. (never got red Locktight/per factory spec!?) The crankshaft pulley spacer and Rotor got all chewed up.

My local Harley dealership ordered the wrong Rotor and I did not notice until I put it all back together and started it up. It started fine, then would quit like it was out of fuel if I gave it some throttle.

This happened a few times and I decided to take it apart and make sure everything was working. Discovered the slight size difference in new rotor. Switched it out with the correct one. But now it happens every time.

I've checked the stator and it looks in good shape. The new rotor is identical the the original, the pulley and all parts are seated correctly so I dont know what is going on! Any suggestions?? I cannot afford to take it to a repair shop and have them start replacing everything until it's fixed.

Three things to keep a bike running: Spark, fuel and air.

You said it starts, then quits when you give it throttle. Is it getting gas? Despite it being a stator/rotor issue, are you sure it's not just a coincidence and you have another underlying issue?

Unplug the voltage regulator, and try it. I'm wondering if something got shorted when the rotor came off the first time....

Is the battery fully charged?

I have used a propane torch to feed the gas as a supplimental fuel, when it acts like it's going to die give it propane and if it recovers it'll indicate lack of fuel
