Could this be my new bike?

So, after some deliberation and deciding that the new Dynas aren't really for me, the idea now is to go for something a bit older. Spotted a 2000 Dyna Low not a million miles from where I live so going over to have a look at it on Sunday. Piccy attached

I have a 2000 FXDL and am very happy with it. It came from the factory running a bit lean but I have rejeted it and am pleased with the performance. Had 7K miles when I bought it in June and is now at 9K.

That's a nice looking scoot, but that license plate is huge and ugly. Need to figure out how to hide that thing somewhere.

I know - terrible ain't it DD? British number plates must be the ugliest in the world IMO. The problem we have is that now and then the police get a downer on bikers and have a "witch hunt" where we get fined heavily for having small plates and loud pipes! So basically we're stuck with those crappy things. They look particuarly bad on Harleys because of where they're sited, most other bikes have them hanging down off the rear fender. They look margnlly better with a cissy and back rack on and a lie back bracket to tilt it backwards - that WILL be happening when I get my Harley

That is a good looking bike. Why did you decide against the other one you had found?

I went with a FatBob rear fender on my LowRider to get rid if the high light and plate, with the fender struts and tail light/plate mount it's an easy and relatively inexpensive swap, even re-uses the original light. The fender pre-painted from Harley, was only around $350, you can spend more and improve the looks less
