Floor boards and Forward Controls Fat Bob
Is it possible without frame modification to add floor boards to a fat bob and still have forward controls? Because I want the option to ride both ways. I don't like riding with my legs in front all the time. Like to rest them below from time to time. I feel like I'm always re-inventing the wheel? Anyone else have this setup?

I'm in the same situation.
Though as an alternative I was considering putting mid pegs on it, just so I could have somewhere else to put my feet

I asked the same question a while back but got no response. I have an FXD SE2 and would like the same thing. I went to my dealer but all they could offer were some mini boards that would replace the pegs and in the same position. I'l keep looking and asking.

I have Kuryakyn Boards on my Fat Bob with forward controls. One of the best options I've added to the bike for comfort.

You obviously didn't ask it here, since you only have ONE post. Had you searched, you'd have found 2 post already about this.
wide glide floor boards?
'09FXD H-D Forwards, but want floorboards too.
The answer is Yes. However, I made these with Kuryakyn +2" forward controls, the rear mounts are highway pegs mounted in the stock mid-control position and the boards are antique ovals.
You can buy the floor board set from HD, for a Dyna Police bike, that will bolt right on, however, they're almost $900 until all is said and done.

I like your set up. How much were they? Could you send me a part# and how hard are they to put on?

You are absolutely right that was another another forum. I suffer from a rare disease call head up as-(figure out the last letter) but I appreciate your response. 900 is a little steep as I bought the bike without the wife's permission and mods have to be a bit conserative for a while.

Not sure about you, but $900 is ALOT steep for me, hence my creation. Every once and awhile I see a set on Ebay, but even then, they go for $500-600!!!
As for buying the bike without the wife's permission..... it's always easier to ask for forgiveness, then permission.
Stop in our "New to the Community" section, and tell us a little about yourself. Especially how the wife reacted when the new HD came home.....

Very easy install ... the Kuryakyn part number is KY-7916 ... got them for under $200. Took just a few minutes to mount. I've had them on for a couple thousand miles now.

Dave is that your Pink sporty in the background?
I thought the foreward controls on my FB were comfortable as is...I thought I would miss foreward controls, but after years of being foreward, the floorboards on the KING are nice
