Same here in Oregon, usually I can ride enough each week to warm the oil up good. Watch the weather real close though.

Off season? I don't understand this concept. Motorcycles work in the cold.

Sometimes I wish I had more downtime, can't stop riding long enough to do the good mods.

Winter is coming

Know what you mean with winter on the horizon - supposed to get down to minus 2 overnight Thursday. I'll ride until the snow forces me to quit - I hate the thought of even the word winter.
I'll change out the handlebars, perhaps the D bars, for better distance riding come spring and summer. I went on one 2500K trip this year followed by a couple of 900K with the wife. Bike handled like a dream but the bars have to go. Also will change out shocks - not sure which type yet am still checking and hopefully by spring if I get the cash I'll change out the stock pipes - I'll do the pipes myself but get the shop to do the turning. Winter? Just a dead season where bikers find or make up reasons to spend even more money while waiting to ride all over again. Wives hate winter - that's the season they fear most - that is if their husbands have bikes - it just one long spending spree with the wives doing their best to mitigate the damage to their households BUT I did do some interior work this year. My best effort in years so I should have earned some brownie points come Christmas - bike parts!

Winter gets me down too, i bought an enclosed trailer to drag my bike down to the sunshine once or twice this winter, when I just cant take it any more. It'll fit two or three bikes, anybody wanna split on gas? I'm thinking mid January.Got a 4x4 Ram to make sure i can make it through the white stuff to get there too!
I rode in every month of last year, but temperatures below 0 degrees celsius make for an awfully quick trip around the block. And its hard to look cool when you are wearing every piece of clothing you own!
