which part to install?

Confused on which part I purchase for my new spring seat for my 09 Street Bob. Both said they would work with Dynas, but with not having the bike right in front of me, I cant picture how the install would work. Any help on which it is? Thanks

Number ONE will not fit your bike. That's for a round tubbed backbone frame, of which you have anything but.

Number 2 is the same thing, less the spring perch. The only way either one of those would work would be to mod them and weld them to the square backboned frame.

What you need is this: Harley-Davidson USA | Accessories And Apparel | Genuine Motor Accessories

FYI, that kit doesn't include the seat. That's another hand full of cash.

DAMN! Im not about to cash out another 250 just for the kit! I have seen guys make their own kits but Im not the skillful when it comes down to working with metal. Guess Im going to have to learn quick. Any other suggestions other than welding would be great. I want the option to swap seats if I need to.

correct me if im wrong here dave but thats just the front pivot point for the seat. which may or maynot fit the sqaure backbone frame. id have to measure mine. but either way you would still need to look into spring mounts and seat
