Pulled the Trigger - Dyna Saddle bags & WS

Well I pulled the trigger today and am the proud owner of a 2009 FXDL. I got 2200.00 off MSRP and the first service free. Called 4 other dealers and no one would touch the deal.

Thank you guys for your input!

Now, I want to get some simple and hopefuly inexpensive saddle bags and possibly a windshield I can take off. Any suggestions?

I've got a Harley detachable windshield for my Fat Bob, not inexpensive, but very well made. The thing I love about it is that it clamps onto the forks, so when you take it off there's no hardware on the forks.

Congrats on the new ride. You might check ebay for your parts they are generally less expensive than HD.

Congrats here also. I agree to check eBay for windshield and there are a number of places to get saddle bags if you're OK with non-HD bags. If you want HD bags then also check eBay.

I had the "sport" windshield from HD on my Wide Glide but just picked up a new full size HD windshield on eBay for $125.

i found my windshield on craigslist.. it's a harley quick disconnect with the clamps. i like it alot

Damn, I wish I could get a deal like that. Around here dealers won't even sell for the MSRP, never mind below it.
