Cool Anothr Dyna Upgrade

Hi

Have just upgraded front suspension on my 06 Superglide. Used Wideglide fork tubes and progressive springs to give the front more height,so I wouldn't keep scraping the right boot heel on the road when cornering.Bit unsettling when cornering hahaha...
Have SERT already and am going to upgrade air filter and pipes.Have decided on the pipes,V&H Big radius 2-1.
Can anyone help me with a decent airfilter?
Am going to upgrade to 103ci in the near future and would like buy just the one air filter as prices are really high here in New Zealand.

Thanks

I like that idea. My right foot peg if really ground up and my muffler has a flat spot. Where did you get the forks? New or used?

Another Dyna Upgrade

Wideglide forks are 2 inches longer, with progressive springs are great.

Had to get them from the local dealer, couldn't find any for my model advertised in New Zealand that were the correct size.

If you can get some good used ones, will do the job nicely.Would recommend fitting new seals.

I have wide glide forks and 21" wheel on my FXD. I like the looks, but the bike doesn't handle as well. I have considered lowering the forks 1 to 2" and the rear the same. Currently I don't have any seat height problems, but the bilke feels clumsy at slow speeds. I have the Screaming Eagle induction system and exhaust. I do like the V&H Big Radius. Three of my fellow riders have them on their Dynas.

Because the fork tubes are longer then the FXD's, raising the front, and changing the bike's geometry, increasing rake and trail. Once over 32* rake, the turning-into-the- corner feature starts to deminish.....

Drop the front 2"-2.5" and you'll get your handling back.
