In your words, the Dealer has admitted to a manufacture's defect.
Is it under warranty right now? You stated
My 2 yr warranty is UP IN JUNE, or did you mean, it WAS up in June of 2009? I read that as you STILL have a warranty. No need to extend anything....
Simple answer.....either there's more to this story, or you need to stop wasting time on the internet whining about it, (I mean that in the nicest way

.) and find an Attorney.
Defect.
Warranty.
Fix.
No cost to you.

Your Warranty is a contractual agreement. You do this. ...they do that. In all reality, you paid for it as well.
One letter from an Attorney to your dealer, (Or another dealer that's willing to do their job) and your problem and subsequent oil leak will go away.
You can always pull your paperwork and contact a District Dealer Rep and chat it up with him/her, but that may or may not yield anything either.
If your warranty WAS UP IN 2009, then you are more then likely gonna have to foot that bill, if you waited until NOW to take it in for repair.
