Fxd Build

So i got through most of the tearing down and some of the customization of my fxd. Im planning on a bobber style. going to chop both fenders, going to get apes, and going to paint a two tone black and deep cream. similar to the two tone style of the nightsters. SO it will have cream fenders and two tone tank cream on top and black on bottom. I cut the rear fender like i was planning, might have went a little short but i think with 11" shocks it will still look good. Got the tank mostly stripped and my tranny issue fixed. made a tank lift, polished trans covers and primary cover, and painted a lot of stuff gloss black(ignition cover, coil cover, fuel gauge ring etc) so in the end hopefully it will have a nice look of cream and black and chrome and black.

I figured i would post pics of my progress so far and keep you guys updating on it as time goes by.

I don't think it's too short.. I think it only looks that way because of that seat you have on there. Throw the solo on and it'll look good..

I'm looking for a solo this winter and I think I'm going with the Mustang vintage solo.. haven't heard a bad thing about it from anyone! They make a pillion that fits with them too.
