50k miles too many for a 99 dyna?

i was gonna buy a 03 dyna that was dropped. but changed my mind when i got the price of a new 100th aniv. tank and stuff.

anyhow i found another deal seems great. its a 99 dyna FXD in MINT condititon, just under 50k miles on the clock. guys says he always taken perfect care of it, all fluids are amsoil, the bike is very pretty.

my question is, how many miles are too many miles. i can ride this bike home for $5000 today!

the bike has lots of polished aluminum, paint is perfect, although it dont matter becasue im gonna paint anyway. ill also throw a wideglide front end on it next year maybe.

also, is it possible to put the cluster or dash on a FXD, like the wide glides have the speedo on the tank.?

Sounds better Eric.....I would look around on Craigslist, etc...There are tons of bikes for sale cheap, even with low miles....It's a major buyer's market right now...

I don't know I really like the one I posted. 5k delivered. And he gonna ride here 100 miles, so I'll know it runs good.

Any road trip over 100 miles can't really happen right now, I have a 3 day old baby at home.

So how many miles are these twin cams good for? And how much is a rebuild kit?
