Whats the largest tire to fit a Wide Glide

Anyone know the largest tire that you can squeeze under the 2010 wide glides?

I am interested in this same idea myself. I was looking at my bike with some friends today and they were talking about putting a bigger rear tire on it. Hopefully someone can provide some insight to this.

Not many on here have a '10 wideglide or put a bigger tire on it. Give it a lil time and someone that knows will chime in.

I was talking to the bike guy here in Fairbanks at Thunder Road and he said a fat boy tire and rim would fit. I looked at the dealership and according to the size of the fat bob the tire and axle, they are totally different.

2010 Wide glide has a wide glide width front hub. A Fatboy RIM would fit, but then you're replacing the tire and wheel. You also have to get a rim with the 25mm bearings to fit the axle, as prior models also had 1" and 3/4" ID bearings.

The difference is in the forks. The 2010 wide glide uses the 49mm forks, where the Fatboy still uses the 41mm (41.3mm) forks. Wheel hub width may be slightly different and spacer modification may be required to make rotors fit correctly.

If we're talking just a tire swap: The 3 most common sizes for street tires are 90-90x21, 100-90x21 ans 120-70x21. Outside of that, you may have difficulty finding a decent road tire in a wider size.

I cant speak for the original poster, but I was talking about the rear tire not the front. I want to go 200+ when I change the rear tire, just not sure how big I can go.
