SuperGlides IMHO turned out to be the best thing HD ever did.
Think how much of their market share since 1971 would not have
been satisfied with a dresser/bagger, but wanted a bigger bike than a Sportster
We wanted all of the brawn and soul of the big Harley, without any frills or clutter

An FXR's not a Superglide, Nathan. Completely different frame and platform, including the first rubber mounted engine. Although, the Superglide probably started it....

Who'da thought the 48 and Crossbones would be retro bikes? Maybe they'll make a retro FXR....

FYI: Eric Buell was one of the designers for the FXR frame.
