2016 Fat Bob exhaust advice?

I reasently bought a 2016 Fat Bob for my first bike and I am truly In love. The ride is super smooth and the seat is very comfortable. Due to my excitement I wanted to ride with every person I could to show off the bike however this is when I incountered a problem. It turns out my Fat Bob..... falls a little short in the sound department compared to other bikes. Also I feel other cars around me don't notice me as much as other bikes due to this fact. This brings me to the point of the post.
I am looking to change the pipes but I don't know where to start. I was wondering if someone can give me advice on what to expect and if they have any ideas of good pipes I should look at.
Your help is greatly appreciated.

you just have to pick a set you like! when i first got my bob my buddy made fun of me all the time since it is so quiet from the factory....i slapped on a heavy breather and black big radius exhaust so she sounds like a harley now....youll have to get it remapped when you do these things but youre gonna love the power improvement....

p.s. what color did you get?

Congrats on the new bike and welcome to the forum.
There's so many exhaust possibilities it's mind boggling. Chrome, black, 2 into 1, 2 into 2, etc. For starters, use the search function to see what other Dyna owners prefer. Go to some bike nights so you can look at and hear what the different systems are like. Hang out a a local dealer at their busy times, you get the idea.

When I got my Fat Bob in 2013, I went the cheap route and stuck a set of Screamin' Eagle slip-on mufflers. They are quiet, but make a good rumble when you throttle on. I like 'em, and wouldn't think of changing except for one little detail.

The first thing to touch down is the very tip end of the lowest muffler when aggressively ripping through curvy pavement, mountain riding, etc. I'm looking to go with V&H shortshots, not because of the sound, but so I have more lean angle on the right side. I'd prefer to go with a good 2-1 exhaust system that sits a little higher up.

Anyway, good luck to you and I'd love to see what you decided on.

Not totally true. The computer can pretty much adjust for just pipes and breather.
True that to get the most out of them a remap is a good idea.

Will also richen up the A/F mixture. Helps to reduce normal operating temp a bit.

My son's 08 FatBob has Vance and Hines Slip ons. Little loud for me. Sound great going thru the gears. Good Luck

Thanks for all the advice everyone. Sorry for the delayed response. I work off shore down in Texas. Attached is a picture of my bob. I kinda wish I went with the red and black but it's a great bike.

Man congrats on the bike. I just recently purchased my fat bob same color and just like you i really wanted the denim black/red. But as you said vivid black is good too.
