i had problems with my Dyna

after i bought my 2004 dyna low rider. i put a 100 miles on her and then started having problems like codes popping up , the trying to shut off. so i let the local harley dealer have it for 3 weeks. they did a service on it and checked it all out but they said they could not get any codes to come back. i picked up the bike and rode it 40 miles and the same thing started happening again. so i took it back to the place i bought it from. they had it another 3 weeks and said they could not get any codes to come up. so i picked the bike up and rode it 30 miles and then the turn signals started acting up and codes were popping up. so fed up with all of them i went on ebay and got a scaner and found the factory manuals for my bike and started to read all the troubleshooting trees with the codes i was getting. they all seemed to be pointing to the tssm (turn signal security module). so i pulled off the cover and pulled out the module and guess what i found?? the hole plug was covered in corrosion. for one the seal was missing but the dealer or the place i bought it from could not find anyting i was f-ing pissed off.i cleaned it out of the wires and replace the plug so back to ebay i go and find the module i needed(because the dealer wanted $270) for $70 shipped. i programed it to the bike and wow everything works right i took it for a short ride and no codes came back and the turn signals work. my bike will never see any of them again.i have everything i need to fix it now. rant over thanks.

If it's broke,I'm sure i can fix it!!

Glad you got it figured out.
Seems like its that way a lot of the time.
The only way to get to the bottom of a problem like that is to do your own diagnostics.
Dealerships seem to be lacking in that skill.

But they seem to be willing to charge you anyway

they did not charge me because i started raising my voice and some of the people that were there started to come see what was going on. the service manger just gave me my keys and said thank you have a nice day.
