Loose mirror

I have a problem with my left mirror. The mirror is extremely loose on the "ball". I don't see any way that this can be adjusted.

Bike is in storage, so I can't readily take a picture of it right now...You can see the mirrors fairly well with these pics:

If there are screws or a screw close to the ball pivot, tighten the and should tighten your mirror up.

I don't think those mirrors have any way to tighten them up.

I appreciate the offer. I want to try and figure out a way to shore these up. Hold on to those for a more needy soul.

here is what may work... i had a set that did not have screws... this may work but yours may be different... between the mirror and the stem you should be able to see a small part where the ball atatches to the stem... you have to fit pliers in there and hold them and turn the mirror clockwise... maybe it will maybe it wont... worth a try, worked on mine

It's not the destination that matters, it's all about the ride that gets you there.

I just ended up replacing mine when they became that loose. Mine were on a 2005 Super Glide, fortunately the mirrors from Dad's 07 Street Bob fit just fine.

later,
