Before I put apes on my '10 WG I loosed the clamps and rotated the bars farther away from me and it helped until I changed them. So, I don't see why it can't help to go the other direction with them.

Hey, maybe he's an old AMF rider.LOL. I could tell you some stories about my old 74" but won't bore you. The EVO saved the company that and AMF getting out of the business.

Sorry to hear about the discs. I had the same thing and had the surgery a few years ago. I had two discs bulging and they replace them with plastic and put a plate on the front. Been pain free ever since. No issues. Good luck as I know how bad the pain can be.

one thing i wish different is i hope i can somehow bring the grips closer to me so im not reaching as much. any help is appreciated

That's why I love the newer Harley's... Fuel injection makes these bikes a lot more fun and reliable, jump on it and go!

Its getting worse. I am doing an immediate follow up with the neuro surgeon next week. Walter Reed Army hospital for disc replacement is in the order.

tomseal6, Hate to here you are having a problem. I had surgery c6 and c7 in December 2011. It was a total success. No pain and normal function.
I am 45 years old and bounced back very quickly.

Did you have the fusion done? I am hoping the surgeon will agree to disc replacement as I do not want to lose movement from a fusion.
I posted a pic of my MRI on the first page. It appears that the most problem is in my C6/C7 as well.
How does this problem happen? I am only 33 YO
