Dumb things just happen sometimes. Time to tell your story.
Today I went for a ride, weather was perfect in Southern California (sorry for the rest of the country with cold weather). I got off my bike, took off my helmet, went to hang it on the Handel bar, it slipped out of my hand and bounced on my fuel cap. Put a dent in the cap. What the Hell!!! I guess my brand new Wide Glide ain't new no mo. Oh we'll, to the Harley shop, or shop on line for a special cap. As an ex Navy guy, I will look for the Navy seal cap. Got to look on the bright side, life is too short to sweat the small stuff.
I didnt have one till about 10min ago...had both bikes setting in the drive way....thought I heard thunder...na..cant be..sure enough lighting thunder...thought I better pull the bikes in the shed..no problem right...wrong..pulled the fatboy in no problem...went to pull the ultra in..got it pulled in then bam...next thing I know iam on the ground and my new ultra is all off on the crash bars....the fender just missed the rear fender of my fatboy..no damage........moral to the story......put down the fuggin kickstand...felt like a dumbass ,had to get the ol to help me pick it up...could have been worse...
