LED Turn Signals.

I just ordered turn signal LED lights for my 2012 Dyna Wide Glide. I ordered the Oaracle 115718L3CR and te 115718L3CA for the front and rear. I also have the rear chopped fender LED brake light from HD. I have been through the forums and have found different opinions if I am going to need a load balancer. Has anyone had any experience with this?

If they are true led's you WILL need a load equalizer. The company that sold you the lights should've told you. Badlands sells a good one.

I got them from Amazon and the Oracle website states it may need an equalizer. Thanks for the info though.

The 2012 Dynas use Harley's new CanBus BCM (Body Control Module) system. You
should be able to run this without a Load Equalizer. You might see rapid
flashing on the dash indicators, but the signals should flash normally. If
they do not, you will need to have the Harley dealer reset the BCM for LEDs.

You may not need one however the turn signal module will let you know for sure.

If your lights blink very fast when you have the turn signal on, this would be an indication that the module doesn't have enough current running through it (as LED's pull much less current) and blinks fast to let you know (ordinarily) that you may have a burnt out bulb - a relay corrects this.
When I installed my LED's this happened and I thought, wow, how cool, but was quickly told that I needed a load regulator otherwise I would burn out my turn signal module. I installed a relay and it works as designed.
