power commander drama

i recently purchased a second hand fuel moto efi tuner. i thought i was getting a good deal but i think it was the wrong model for my bike and its caused nothing but problems. it was preloaded with a map and upon installation my bike ran fine. when i tried to plug it into laptop to change map it would not communicate and came up with error. from that point on my bike has not started. i took the power commander out and replaced all stock connections and still no start. could this improper part have damaged any components on my bike?

It may have damaged the ECU. If you check for codes, you'll find out. Check the maxi-fuse as well, as maybe you just shorted something and popped it.
