Turn Signal Relocation.

Hi all,

Just did the turn signal relocation on my 2012 Dyna Wide Glide. Not the easiest of thigns to do but it is doable. A couple of things to be aware of, make sure you have the propper tool for crimping the new terminal on the new lights, they only give you 6 terminals so if you mess one up your gonna have to go looking! The other is that the socket on the lights has a disc at the bottom, this disc has the two leads that power the dual filament bulbs, the is held into place when the bulb is installed. Prior to bulb installation the disc is free to move around. The disc has a tab and the light reflector has 3 notches, if you get the tab in the wrong notch, your light will not function properly, may not even function at all. I have attached several pitures.

Just had the luggage rack and the backrest installed on my 2012 WG (same as yours Poppa). They had to do a relocation of rear turn signals to facilitate the side plates for the detachable clap trap, did a good job and best of all, it all comes off in a few seconds for solo ridding. Can not believe how expensive that darn setup was. Did the wife test this morning and she loved the back rest. This is the acid test, she likes it, I go with it and not mention it again. LOL.
