I would have to agree that a HD Dealer saying that about Dyna Super Glide Customs is definitely way off base. In WV we have more than our share of curvey, mountainous roads as well as Interstates and have ridden other HD models plus competitors and none equal the smooth ride and excellent handling of the Dyna Super Glide Custom on these roads. I have no noise or roughness and to date have close to 25,000 miles on the bike.

I love the look of the super glide and the wide glide. I was considering both before I bought my new bike. They reminded me of the before and after of my chopped sportster with the springer from 1968, but larger.

They will ride smooth with fresh tires, balanced wheels and healthy forks as has already been mentioned.

I knew I was going to add windshield, bags and cushier seat and passenger seat and passenger back rest. The Heritage came with all of that as stock and would have put me a few hundred dollars away.

The retro look of the fat front tire with the traditional 3 headlight array. At this point in my life, it really punched my buttons, but I fully intended to buy the super glide or the wide glide.

There's a picture of the sportster after all the mods in my images file. Check out my favorite target with a 45 Kimber at 25 ft on an 8.5 x 11 picture.
