My 07 Super Glide Locked up after 7 miles
Took bike out after buying a week ago...went 7 miles and was going up small mountain; shifting from 2nd to 3rd, the bike locked up, oil light came on and then stalled....was locked up for about 15 minutes then started and not locked..needless to say had it towed back to home waiting for HD dealer to pick up after holiday to service....

Wow, that is a horrible first post on the forums...lol
That sucks, I'm sure HD will get it straight for you. Mine broke down on me (11 FLHX) out in the middle of nowhere, but all is well now.
Keep us posted.
Hit the newbie forum and introduce yourself when you get a chance, and hang around for awhile...lol

So, interesting topic for discussion....
What happens when that happens? What have you done?
Call AAA? Does that work?
Use the harley membership free tow? Does that work as they say it does?
Call the local Harley dealer? Do they go out for a tow?
I heard somewhere that only certain types of tow trucks can take motorcycles..
And God forbid, did you ever have to leave your bike on the side of the road?
So many questions....

when you say locked up you mean the engine died or the back wheel locked up?
