I like that bike. Other than the apes, it looks stock?
Would anyone advise an oil cooler?
If I go with the street bob, I can afford to get a few upgrades. Thinking SE2 and perhaps the air intake, and pipes.

Don't go to loud pipes, If you could find new old stock Screamin Eagle slip ons that's as loud as I'd go.
The free slow air cleaner and pipes are as good a mod for the money as it gets.
An even better kit is the one Kainam suggests putting together with a zippers filter, wait till you have it and the low restriction exhaust before having it tuned.
Got a SE air filter? Thinking about going to the SE air filter setup?

The bars and a 2" lift on the tank is all.
Yes I would recommend an oil cooler. That's going to be my next big purchase.
Good luck on your choice......

Actually, I was thinking of the Heavy Breather kit part # 29098-09.
I just like the way it looks. Not sure if it is a good filter?

Not sure where El Campo is, but check this place out in Dallas. You can save some money on a bike there. I bought an 08 Super Glide under 1K miles for under $10K. Local HD dealers are selling Sporters for more than that. They offer financing as well and you can do most everything on line or over the phone.

If you can find Houston and Victoria, El Campo is almost exactly in the middle on HWY 59. Dallas is about 4.5- 5 hours at highway speeds.
I have Dream Machines as a favorite. I drool on their site ALOT.
I have no problem with flying to Dallas and riding a scoot home. If I find the right bike.
I am hoping that as I get closer to November (A Harley would be a nice birthday present to myself, don't you think), with this recession (hell its a depression honestly) and a little cooler weather, I am hoping that I can work a little better deal on a new one. But if the right deal comes along, I have no problem with a used bike.
If work picks up a little, I might wait until after 01/01/2010, see if we get any kind of Christmas bonus. Little cooler, little more rain, wifes saying "You never ride that thing, get it out of my garage!", might have a little more cash and find a better deal.
I am anxious, but I am determined to have 10k in my hand before I go looking. Credit score really bites (immature when younger, and divorce didn't help) Also, if I get a new one, I want as low a payments as I can get.
