Unhappy HELP.Anyone have contacts @ HD Corporate?

I wonder if anyone here has any contacts at HD above my dealership that could help me.

I recently purchased a brand new 09 RockerC. My first Harley. It was sweeeeeet.
But after the second long trip it developed a terrible misfire. Lugging and backfiring something fierce.

Brought it to the dealership where they found out that the tuning has somehow been lost. They re tuned and within a few miles it was hosed again.
After another week and a half they decided that they had absolutley no idea what was wrong. Has tested or replaced the fuel, injectors, plugs, and now had to order a new wiring harness which would pretty much require full disassembly.

So no the new harness is in and the thing still won't run well enough to ride.

I am so fed up with my local dealership (really, really want to identify them and run them through their own self-induces mud but I'll hold off for now.). I have been without my bike for over a month now. It's officially been in the shop for longer than it was in my garage. My short riding season is quickly coming to a close and I still don't have anything to ride.

I know right now that the Lemon Law is on my side in demanding either a new bike or my money back, but now the 2010's are out so a new bike wouldn't really be fair for me to ask for. Even a full refund would be a blow since I had to trade in my old bike and it's been sold. (Really a knife in the back feeling to see it crusing by me now with some other dude on it.)

Right now, I don't really want a new bike I'd rather mine worked. But I am so fed up with HD for the way they've jerked me around and showed utter incompentence in locating, diagnosing, or fixing the problem that I just want to know that someone, ANYONE, at HD is willing to do the right thing.

Does anyone know who I can talk to at HD that is above my local dealership. Anyone in warrenty dispute resolution or claims or something?

Ive talked to a few friends who work in the Engineering dept. at HD. All they did was give me the same number that was already posted.

They did say to call and talk to someone, they really like to know if you have a trouble bike or a trouble dealer. They do not want a dealer giving their bikes a bad name, so it should get handled quickly.

Just call and be nice but firm, ask for help before getting angry.

Had a prob with mine kept at the dealer, they have their hands tied by the factory, but if you push hard enough the will have the factory rep come out and deal with the bike. You will need to find out who the rep is for the region. like others have said, call the customer service line so it is documented then rail the dealer.
Good luck!

I wouldn't feel bad about getting a 2010 replacement. I'd bet the MSRP is the same as the 2009. Good luck!
