Thanks for the info

Just wanted to thank all of you who had the answer to my brake light being on whenever the ignition was on. The answer was in adjusting the master cylinder/front brake lever slightly away from the throttle housing to let the switch actuator retract fully. Works great now and best of all didn't cost me a dime. Thanks again.
