ignition switch is bad

Hi , this is a common cause . my truck just done the same thing . I've had my z do this 30 years ago . voltage will show @ the + side of the switch an phantom voltage on the neg. side , but the problem is corroded contacts . it will be eaiser to check the oil pressure sending unit 1ST to see if voltage is passing thru to the fuel pump . pull the wire off the sending unit & jump two wires . there will be three wires . place the jumper in the 1st wire an 2nd wire hole or contact with the switch on an start the engine .then go 1st an & 3rd if it don't start check your ignition switch . my thoughts Bud

try the systems relay under the seat next to the starter relay. if this is bad you will get no spark and no power to the fuel pump

without looking at the diagram the ckp should have nothing too do with the fuel pump.
is there not a relay??? test for power grounds at the relay. i would guess the control (whatever that is) is not grounding the relay.
