o5 ulra intercom problem

I have a 05 Ultra that I that I just bought. When I bought it the radio worked then went out so I had it rebuilt by Harley, under my esp warranty. When it came back now when ever the bike hits about 3000rpms the intercom over rides and mutes the radio. It does this if it is playing thru the helmets or the speakers. I tried to change the avc from one to three and this did not help it still doing it. I have brand new Harley helmet headsets. Does anyone have any advice. My dealer says I must just be doing something work in the operation

If by AVC you mean automatic volume control your in the wrong adjustment pot. (Only deals with Radio CD)

Check Advanced audio system, intercom operation
in your OM index

07 ultra
press INT button on front panel
press soft key 1 (INT on/off)
press Mode select UP or DN, or press the 4 0r 5 soft key to initiate VOX display.
LCD displays vox sensitivity as bar graph with a smaller bar to indicate the center of 14 bars. Higher number of bars indicate greater sensitivity lower means less sensitivity.
Continue to use Mode selecton, on the right hand grip to adjust sensitivity level. MODE SEL UP to make the mike more sensitive or MODE SEL DN to reduce sensitivity
Exit setup by pressing the MODE SELECT switch.

Hope this helps,
