The Kuryakyn controller works well but you may need to wire in an additional ballast to trick the TSM into thinking the lights are still in the system . The TSM requires a specific amount of load to function correctly .

Your bike already has a TSM ( turn signal module ) and the upset comes from removing a load ( lights ) from the circuit . The TSM is designed to work with a specific load and can sense when the load changes , such as when one of the turn lights burn out . With one of the lights burnt out the rest will flash several times when the ignition is turned on then will continue to function normally . This will happen every time till the light is replaced .

First of all , I would never advise anyone to remove lights from thier motorcycle ... period . Having said that and if you are bound and determined to remove the lights then go to one of the websites , JP or Drag or Custom Chrome etc. and read up on some of the light controllers they sell to see which one fits the application you have in mind . I'm not quite sure of exactly what you're trying to accomplish . You said that you already have an led tail light , is it stock HD or aftermarket ? Does it have integrated turn signal functions ? Try to match up one of the controllers specs to what you're wanting your lights to work like . Then , when you've got a better idea of what you want , get back to the forum with your ideas .

it is a mod that allows my after maket led brake light to turn into a turn sigs. it ties into both turn sigs and then feeds the one single led brake light. witch inturn allows u to terminate oem turn sigs and still have them in the led brake light.

I like the module I installed on mine from Badlands, works well even with the alarm system. Simply plug and go!

Now it sounds like you already have everything you need , like it's a kit with the light , controller and wiring . The controller most likely has the ballast built into it . The only reason you may need an extra ballast is if the turns don't flash , you'll know that when you get everything hooked up .
