Anyone tried the new HD LED Headlights?

Just installed rear LED tail lights and turn signals(red lenses) on my 2005 Road King Classic. WOW! what a difference, they also act as running lights, run cooler, last long, MUCH MORE visibility from the rear. My LED headlight and aux. lights arrive tomorrow.. I had both LED headlights and added Aux LED lights last month. Both work great. Also added a headlight modulator kit at the same time via the dealership. No problems here!

The lights look bad ass and they sure light up the night. Aux lights turn off when high beams are on so I fixed that issue by hard wiring the HD fog lamps so I can turn them on when hi beam is on. I swapped out the H3 hologen bulb and purchesed the H3 PIAA Plazma super white lights for the fog lamps. I need to take my wind deflectors off now that the weather is getting warmer. Having issues loading pictures up otherwise I'd show you what they look like on the bike. My friends when they see them.

I have the new L E D headlight on my 2010 Limited. It is great on the straight road but the road disappears in the curves. I've adjusted, aimed,even got a friend to ride it to see what he thought. He said it was dangerous to ride in the curves and hills. ( hope this post in the right place, thanks)

Hmmm. I just purchased the LED headlight. It just arrived today, so I haven't had a chance to install it just yet. But I did take it out of the box. DAMN that is one ugly light bulb. It better be freakin' awesome. Hoping it helps my nighttime vision, or I will be adding an auxiliary light bar.

Installed the LED headlight a few days ago. What a huge difference at $524 was not easy to swallow that much for a headlight but then again you can't put a price on your safety. I also wanted to add the accessory lights on the side however that was over $900 maybe in the future.

Bought them all the way around for my FLSTC and you're correct - they're expensive as hell. They definitely throw the light down range but I'm not sure I'm 100% cool with the horizontal beam. When my passing lights are off and I take a curve, there are those black holes on either side of the road, kinda right where I'd like to look through the curve. I didn't get the price break that the above poster got but, like him, I thought I was finished buying lights. Turns out, the lower half of my left front signal light went south on me. Dealer replaced it under warranty but I barely made the 90 day warranty period. Mine were bought last part of last year and as of January, Harley's extended their warranty to 1 year. My heritage is vivid black so I got the black face headlight and passing lights - combined with the smoke lenses on the rest of the lamps, I think it's pretty cool looking.

I have gone to all led lights except on tour pack,big price,but I would do it again,Huge difference!volt gauge is up around 14 leaving more power for other stuff like heated gear.

Thought I'd share...

Purchased the LED Harley Headlight about a year ago. Once the warm weather came and I finally installed in the spring, it maybe lasted for three months of weekend use before this happened:



The housing is still sealed, it appears to be smoke damage from a melting component. It is getting

I called Harley, was pointed back to the dealer from where I purchased, and no email back from them. It's probably on me since I don't have any warranty paperwork for it and the delay of install pushed me out of the accessory warranty, but I definitely would not purchase another one.

It still functions, but no idea for how long.
