32419-84

Hi all,

Trying to find a good working ignition module for my ride.
Part number is 32419-84.
Hard to find one, did find one in the Netherlands for 140 but they won't ship here to the states.
Maybe found another but they want 200 for it and seems they are hard to come down.

If I can't find one guess I'll have to bite the bullet and spend a couple hundred since I don't know anyone over seas.

Thank for any help!

Don

It's a 84 FXRP.
Prefer to keep original parts but thanks.

Spent the 200 and got a new one.
Only one I could find in the states but what the hell.
Now hopefully that cures the problem, find out today when I get it put on.
Thanks you all for looking.

More info on what your working on is a plus and with a 1984 bike parts are getting scarce and far and few between .
I know I have a 1985 FLT

Not knowing where the OP got that part number. I came up with 32405-88 for the ignition module and 32400-83 for the sensor plate. From Ronnie's Parts Finder.

Hi all,
Hey Schmidty, I got the part number from the HD Parts Manual for the 84 FXRP.
I've got both the parts manual and the service manual for it.
Pretty much a gotta have for these old rides.

Now on to the good stuff.
I got the NOS ignition module installed and....
IT RUNS GREAT!
No cut outs no nothing, actually seems to have e bit more power.
That may have been because the guy I got the bike from installed the wrong module with a bit or rewiring.
I put the wiring back to where it's supposed to be and installed the new module and it made a world of difference.

So if anyone needs a ignition module for a FXR*, not a FXRP then I have a spare now.
It's NOS as well, part number 32416-84.

Big John@Dog,
I got the NOS part from eharleyparts.com.
He's got quite a bit old NOS parts there.

Thanks again for helping out guys!
Don
